Steve Kerrigan

Stephen "Steve" Kerrigan (born September 17, 1971) is an American politician and the Democratic nominee for Lieutenant Governor of Massachusetts in the 2014 election.
Kerrigan is the current President and co-founder of the Massachusetts Military Heroes Fund, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing support to the families of military service personnel from Massachusetts who lost their lives in service to the United States of America since September 11, 2001.
From 2009 to 2012, Kerrigan served as the CEO of the Democratic National Convention. He served as the President of the 2013 Presidential Inaugural Committee.
==Early life and education==
Kerrigan was born and raised in Lancaster, Massachusetts. His father worked as a lineman for the Massachusetts Electrical Company, and his mother served as the Mary Rolandson Elementary School secretary.
Kerrigan graduated in 1989 from St. John's High School in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland in 1993.〔
